Guest guest
In April I flew to Florida and bought my tickets through AAA.Great deal!!!! I met a woman with er 2 children the same age as mine at our departure airport in CINCY. She bought her tickets through Priceline and had 2 plane changes and it took her 13 hours to get from the East Coast to Florida(I think I would have drove....)She had a long lay lay over in Cincy then she went to Atlanta, where we also changed planes. Changing planes once with kids is not bad and we like it since they dont give you meals on planes anymore....AND gives you a chance to take the kids to the bathroom, which is not an easy task if you are morbidly obese and my daughter would NEVEr use the airplane toilet anyway(I know her). Just keep in mind that Priceline does NOT tell you how long your layovers are. I am sure she agreed to change planes twice BUT had no idea it would take 13 hrs to get to her destination. We spotted her in the Atlanta airport totally bewildered without a place to even rest. We motioned her over and the kind couple next to us invited her to sit with us. She was travelling alone with the kids and was noticeably EXHAUSTED. Her airfare was maybe $30 cheaper per person, but I can tell you she would agree NOT worth it and would have used AAA.
