Hi all - I have a couple of questions about the metro

creams. Are they the most common topical treatments?

What I mean is, are they the most prescribed by

doctors? It seems from the posts that the first course

of treatment for a new R patient is antibiotics and

one of the metros. Would you all agree?

Also, I read somewhere that the metros are a topical

antibiotic - is that true?

I'm working on an article about R and want to get my

facts straight. Trying to articulate this disease has

been quite a challenge.

Cheers -

Yes, with potent anti-inflammatory properties. Mainly are

anaerobically active, and not very active against p. acnes.

I wonder what this says about us considering that we fatten our

animals up by feeding them ground up dead chickens and cage them and

pump them full of steroids and antibiotics -- see the prior diet

posts.
