For those of you taking Borage Oil, Fish Oil or Zinc, you should be

aware of possible interactions with aspirin and

doxy/tetra/minocycline. I've been taking the above supplements for

quite some time (as well as doxycycline). I didn't know there was a

problem until I stumbled across:

http://www.wholefoodsmarket.com/healthinfo/wholehealth/list_nutrientin

teractions.html

It says borage and fish oil may intensify the blood-thinning effect

of aspirin and other blood-thinning drugs. Also, if you take zinc,

it may make doxycycline less effective. You should take zinc at

least 2 hrs after doxy.

Zinc may make doxycycline less effective. Take zinc at least 2 hours

after ingesting doxycycline.

after ingesting minocycline.

Tetracycline Hydrochloride

Zinc may make tetracycline less effective. Take zinc at least 2 hours

after ingesting tetracycline.

with caution. Consult your doctor before taking together.
