, I'm confusd (a not-uncommon occurance).

Sounds like you are saying to get physical and PAP smear AFTER you

send in packet to Dr. Rutledge and get a date. I thought you had to

send those in with your packet before they would even consider

setting a date. Also, I didn't think the PAP smear had to be within

the past 30 days, just past few months. I just had my annual exam a

few weeks ago and my insurance is very adamant about not doing more

than one a year.

I have two other questions about information to be included in the

packet.

1. What did your doctors do for you on the physcial exam/history? My

PCP is very supportive, but when I went in to see him yesterday for a

physical he really didn't do anything special. I think he figures

between my OBGYN doing my annual well woman exam and various other

tests I have had lately (cardiologists screening, EGD, etc.) I'm

pretty much covered. I'm afraid that won't pass muster with Dr.

Rutledge.

2. I'm in process of trying to gather medical records. Haven't really

had anything for past few years except a C-section two years ago,

when I called yesterday on that they told me it would be at least 8

weeks before they could pull those files!!! Is it OK to send along

everything else I have without that?

The only thing you need within the 30 days is your bloodwork!
