I had a bad time after the ERCP but nothing like that. Guest guest Posted August 30, 2002 Report Share Posted August 30, 2002 , Going to the ER was a waste. All the labs were fine except one of the liver enzymes was elevated. They did an x-ray to see if there were pockets of air in my stomach. The ER doc said it looked like I might have the very beginnings of an ileus. He told me to just sick to soft foods for a day or two. I came home from the ER and took pain med. I slept in the recliner for a few hours. Hubby just woke me and told me to come to bed. I don't think I can sleep right now! The pain seems to be a tiny bit less than it was earlier. Hope this finds you doing well. Re: off to the ER again , I am so sorry you feel so badly.
