Guest guest Posted July 5, 2000 Report Share Posted July 5, 2000 Dear Lori: I really know how you are feeling when your doctor said " why not eat the way you would after the surgery " My boss (who is 280+lbs herself no less...) said the same thing to me... I used to think skinny people didnt understand it, now I think its not just them ! its sooo very frustrating to try to explain the compulsion to eat. If it were that easy...dont they think we would have done it already?? geeze.. I guess all we can do is smile condescendingly to them and think to ourselves...just wait til next year... Then maybe we can say... " well...cant you just stop being ignorant..ya know..as if you weren't...
