Guest guest
, When my son started the diet a year ago he immediately calmed down and started sleeping more(taking long afternoon naps). He was 17months old at the time. He calmed down enough to let me change his diaper without a huge physical struggle to sit still. He did not get lethargic, but I have learned that that is part of die off for some people. I always felt like my son needed extra sleep because of all the changes and healing going on inside his little body. Kim-Mom to Noah28mnthsoldASD, SCD since 2/05 I have a 4 year old son with Autism and starting two days ago, I put him on the SCD diet. He's been on the introductory diet so far and has been doing well. However, this morning he slept until 10 am and has been very lethargic, which is definitely not normal for him. He usually spends a lot of time stimming and yelling, so this reaction is kind of weird. Should I be worried or is this part of the initial reaction to the diet? He's not sick, his temp is normal and seems to be okay otherwise. I am going to introduce fruit today. Has anyone had the same experience? Thanks! ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________
