Guest guest
After having only mild success with Photoderm, I am wondering if part of my problem is my thick skin. As we have vessels at different depths in our skin, I suspect people with thin skin have different results than thick skinned people because IPL treatements target certain depths. I have a very diffuse redness that is very general, you cannot visibly see any veins. I am considering the V-Beam, but similar to photoderm (500nm-650nm) it works at 595nm. Could my problem be that my redness is caused by vessels deeper in the skin than this wavelength can target ? I have heard of some people having good results with the Vasculight (YAG 1064nm) in addition to lower wavelength photoderm. In fact, Dr. Nase mentions the use of this in his book. What benefits have people seen from using photoderm + vasculight ? Any thoughts are appreciated.
