Hair care products and Gum chewing....

Y'all,

I was just wondering if anyone experienced any flushing or

problems with various hair care products (hairspray, gel). About

a year ago, I gave them up because I was trying to identify each

and every trigger, and I was worried about the alcohol content in

them. Do you know if alcohol or fragrance when applied to the

hair (in hairspray, gel, etc.) or other parts of the skin other than

the face (hand lotion, cologne/perfume, etc.) has the same effect

at inducing flushing as when products containing such

ingredients are applied directly to the face?

Also, has gum chewing caused anyone problems? Obviously,

things like Altoids are out, but what about regular gum or

sugar-free gum? And if so, is the resulting flushing due to

ingredients or the simple act of chewing (raising the facial

temperature)?

Your help and input is greatly appreciated....
