I just did Catsup in my crockpot. It worked great. I did put the lid

on but at a tilt and let it cook all day yesterday and all night. I

didn't put any of the extras in until shortly before I jared it. I

just cooked down the tomato juice. I am going to start some for

tomatoe sauce tomorrow.

Be blessed

Sandy M.

Whole family SCD 3 1/2weeks in support of 5 yr old son who rages. (Not

nearly as often nor as long) It just keeps getting better.

I am going to try to crockpot for ketchup very soon--but what I have found

is that cooking a little bit in several pots works great, too. I put like

one or two cups of tomato juice in each of four pots, and put one Tablespoon

of vinegar per cup. It cooks down pretty fast like this--and for me, it's

much easier than remembering to stir one large pot all day.

Hope it works for you!
