Guest guest Posted January 29, 2006 Report Share Posted January 29, 2006 I would recommend seeing Dr. Krigsman for GI problems -he's in NYC and specializes in kids with autism and GI problems. If you suspect your son has colitis it's worth it for him. We've struggled w/GI problems for 4+ years and I never wanted to do anything invasive, but this past few months gave me no alternative and we finally took him. I was glad we did- he not only did have colitis but also some other GI problems. He's been put on a compounded SCD legal medication and it's made some good improvements in how he feels that we could not achieve with diet alone. Best of luck in your search for answers.
