Hi Everyone,

I hope this finds you all having a pain free day. I am home. Slept much of the

day away, but am feeling a little more alert now. I think that I should just

stay home from now on when I have these flares. Especially since none of my

family even looked in on the kids. My house is trashed, there is no food left,

and I can only imagine the phone bills I am going to have. My son left the

computer signed on overnight so he could download music. (It doesn't cost us

that much but overnight?? Geesh!)

I called my case worker to see if we could get some help, but so far I haven't

heard anything back from her yet.... My foreclosure got taken care of thanks to

the generosity of a few very special people in my life and my pinching pennies.

I still have a few bills to get caught up on the first, but nothing like last

month.... no more hospital for me.

The surgery, well I still don't have a date, or even the knowledge that it will

happen for that matter. I am praying that the insurance won't give me a hassle

about it though. I just want it over.

Thank you to everyone that sent prayers and words of encouragement... it means a

lot to me. (even though I couldn't read all of them at the hospital, couldn't

keep my eyes open that long) I really appreciate everything you all do here...

you are all so very special to me.

I see while I was away there was a lot of talk about pancreatic cancer(s) I

have many websites that I have been meaning to get listed in the database on the

yahoo groups page, I haven't been able to yet but if anyone would like the

information I would be glad to send it a long to you. I have several sites that

are very informative.

Welcome to any and all newcomers... I'm sorry you have to deal with this

terrible disease, but I am glad you have found the PAI and all of its wonderful

members... you will feel right at home here I am sure! If you are in need of

information... please do not hesitate to ask, there is much to be shared here.

To everyone that has had trials and tribulations this week, I'm sorry I

haven'tposted to you directly, yet...but know that my thoughts and prayers are

with you.
