I joined this list over the weekend, I have not been diagnoised with

pancreatitis. We had Kaiser and they ran some test initally but decided my

problems were mental.. So I quite them.. And quit trying to figure it out, but

it is not going away..

I have constant pain, in my abdomin, intestines, stomach, and a burning pain in

my back, I have had it for over a year. It gets worse at times, but seems to

hurt always more or less.

Been trying to treat myself for stomach ulcers, but nothing seems to fix it. I

tested positive for h. pylori. And took the treatment right before one of my

episodes. I have hypoglycemia alot, I usually get it after having blurred

vision and seeing stars. But yesterday I had stars after eating and usually the

stars come when I dont eat enough. My blood sugar runs in the 80,90 range.

Usually low normal. And has been as low as 50, when I have checked.

In the past I have thought my problems were pancreatic, but not confirmed. For

awhile thought it was pancreatic cancer, because of the hypoglycemia, and the

location of the pain, lately I been seeing information on pancreatitis, and

wondering if it might be that.. Reading the causes of pancreatitis, I saw it

can be chemically induced, I saw that tetracycline is one of the offending

drugs, I took tetracycline(along with some other bad drugs and chemicals) right

before a big attack, as part of the h. pylori treatment. The attacks feel like

heart attacks. Along with panic, and pain. I dont have them often, but had one

last week, and have been in extra pain since.

Some of the experiences I read sound like me, but cant be sure. I dont need the

hassle of going to a doctor that is not interested in helping me.

I am difinately chemically sick, but it is possible it is affecting my

pancrease, infact my pain feels like something burning or eating me from the

inside out. The acid sounds about right. I dont drink, at least not enough to

mention.

thanks for listening
