Guest guest Posted August 30, 2002 Report Share Posted August 30, 2002 Well, today my pain has gotten worse. I feel like all my insides from my throat down to the top of my legs has been beat up. It hurts inside my throat and upper abdomen to even talk. Taking a deep breath is painful. I attributed this pain to the ERCP I had Wednesday. At first I though myinsides were just sore from being messed with. However, it is getting worse instead of better. I have to strain to urinate and when I strain it hurts throughout my chest, abdomen, and throat. I called the GI's office. His nurse said I need to go to the ER. I've also been running a temp from abut 99 to 100.4 degrees. I have been taking demerol and it does let me sleep for short times, but as soon as I'm awake the pain is there.
