I found this site to provide good over-all information on the herb. I had

taken it for gall stones and elevated liver enzymes for a time before I

began crataegus. I cannot find anywhere a reference for its use in

diabetes and would not, as I do have cfrd, want to take any risks. As

you state, Leesa, Kim's admonition regarding possible harmful effects

is important to remember. I had this in my IE file, so thought I would

send it; a search on diabetes yielded very little, which did not surprise

me.

forget it! My brothers, closer in age, youngest eight years older, and I

are very compatible.
