I had taken it for gall stones and elevated liver enzymes for a time before I began crataegus. I cannot find anywhere a reference for its use in diabetes and would not, as I do have cfrd, want to take any risks. As you state, Leesa, Kim's admonition regarding possible harmful effects is important to remember. I had this in my IE file, so thought I would send it; a search on diabetes yielded very little, which did not surprise me. n, whose eldest sister was 14.5 years older amd mever let me forget it!
