Please Help!

I am so frustrated! I wrote a few weeks ago that I had finally been

approved. Well, now my insurance company tells me that they sent all

of my info to a third party out of state that does NOT recommend me

for laproscopic surgery. Why? I have no idea. They did not know why

either. So, they are trying to make me go to a surgeon in town,

KY. I have never heard of this doctor, I am not comfortable with this

doctor and I don't want this doctor. I am going to go to my

consultation with him and take all of my info on the MGB, and ask him

to refer me to go to Dr. R. I know I talked to someone who went thru

the same circumstances. I'm sorry I don't remember who it was.

Please, Please help me! I have been trying to get to Dr R. since

November. My husband's upset because all I have done is cry this

morning since talking to my insurance company. I asked my insurance

rep. " why do I have to jump thru all of these hoops " " I have been

approved, so why can't I pick a doctor that I have totally checked

out, this is life threatening surgery I want a say so in who is going

to cut on me " I am so frustrated!!! I told her that if she had cancer

wouldn't she want to have a say so in which doctor took care of her?

She basically told me: " on the other hand, if I had was approved for

a surgery that is usually not covered, I don't think I would be so

picky " I said: " this is a life threatening surgery!, I don't want to

die from it, I want to improve my LIFE "

This is already way to long. Is there anyone out there who can help

me?
