Guest guest
Hi all, I'm not sure if this is the right place but it is the closest group I've found for tips on seborrheic dermatitis, forgive me if I'm wasting your time, if so I'll look elsewhere. I've recently been diagnosed with the infection and was wondering if anyone could help with some of my queries. It tends to affect me mostly around the nose, cheekbones and eyebrows. I've used creams such as Nyzoral and more recently Daktakort, which have both helped whilst using them but when I stop using them my face becomes red again especially around the cheekbones which looks like a mild form of acne. I can't find a moisturiser that doesn't affect it, I'm now using Diprobaze. There doesn't seem to be any logical explanation as to why the areas flare up. Is there any dietry advice? I've read that i should involve products with yeast in them. I was also wondering what affect the sun would have on my face? I'm going on holiday in the summer and am a little worried as to what might happen.....is salt water good for the condition? Many thanks Dan
