Sorry to beat a dead horse so to speak but here goes:

Since adding fruit to Graham's diet, he no longer wants to eat his

veggies. He used to LOVE green beans (I just canned 24 quarts of them

so he is going to eat them!) Can I fry bacon and then use the bacon and

the grease from the pan to help flavor the green beans or does the

sugar not cook out of the grease? FWIW, I have a Kroger brand bacon

(not the one Jody has mentioned) that does not list sugar on the

ingredient list.
