Guest guest Posted October 29, 2002 Report Share Posted October 29, 2002 Hi everyone. Yes, we are STILL waiting for the GI dr to call. I called yesterday but didnt get a return call. (as suspected). We were suposed to have results by Wednesday or Thursday (last week). Anway, I was wondering what enzyme is used for Lipase deficiency? Caden's fecal fat study and lipase level actually confirm one another. Lipase is low and fecal fat was high. I am ASSUMING that he will surely get an enzyme to supplement his lipase deficiency. He is malabsorbing his fat. He is losing around 30% of his daily intake of fat. Is there many side effects to a lipase supplement?
