Hold on for getting a copy of the study for those of you who can't bring it up. I wrote an e-mail to my contact at CASA last night hoping they'll be able to explain this mystery. Some folks are able to get the link just fine. Other's not. Thanks, and I'm quite gratified at all the interest. Alice -----Original Message-----From: Alice Larson [mailto:las@...]Sent: Thursday, January 09, 2003 10:28 AM GroupsSubject: [ ] new study estimating migrant and seasonal farmworkers Just a notice to let everyone know that the Oregon Migrant and Seasonal Farmworkers Enumeration Profiles Study is now available through the CASA of Oregon website (www.casaoforegon.org). This report offers estimates of migrant and seasonal farmworkers and their non-farmworking family members for every county in the state. It also provides statewide estimates of children by age groups. The definition used is that of the Migrant Health Program, and this report is similiar in approach to the previous ten Enumeration Profiles Study state studies completed in 2000. These include: Arkansas, California, Florida, Louisiana, land, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Texas and Washington. They can be obtained through the Migrant Health website at: http://www.bphc.hrsa.gov/migrant/enumeration/enumerationstudy.htm I hope you find the information useful. Alice C. Guest guest
Yay! I'm so happy you have this scheduled! Dr. Kolb will take good care of you. The end of a nightmare, the beginning of a new life...yes, that is what this is. Less than 2 weeks to go! You'll be in our thoughts and prayers. So I'm excited to actually be getting closer to the end of this road and starting on a new one. Geez, if only I could find my map!I use the term end, but in so many ways it is the beginning....The beginning of wonderful things to come!Christene Messenger with Voice. Guest guest
Christene, I was also quoted $6000 over the phone for lift, but hard to tell until she see's you in person. Dr. Kolb ended up doing mine for $2100 plus anesthisia, so I changed everything and went ahead and did it and glad I did I don't want another breast surgery ever never agian. I hope she will cut your cost for you when you go or who knows you may not even need a lift some women do not. Good Luck!!! Donna
