Guest guest
I think you would want give green tea early in the day since it contains caffeine. I wouldn't want to be up at 2:00 a.m. playing Chicken Elmo with an 8-month old. Here is something to read about green tea: www.ivillagehealth.com/library/onemed/content/0,7064,241012_246623,00. html And if you live in an area that adds fluorine to the water, you might want to read this first before giving a child green tea: www.bruha.com/fluoride/html/green_tea___f.html So many sides to the coin it's hard to know what to do. Panax ginseng supposedly effects pseudomonas... I don't remember how or why, so for adults, green tea with ginseng might be good. And have you seen this site? Sorta nifty... www.healingwell.com/cysticfibrosis --Kim I can remember green tea being talked about when I first joined the list. I remember Torsten and I think someone else that had a baby, maybe a few months old. Anyway, I just read that the flavonoids in green tea have been found to inhibit the growth of antibiotic resistant staphylococcus. Did you guys know this already? What other positive effects does green tea have on CF? Would their be any benefit or harm in giving my 8 month old tea? I was just wondering what the veteran tea drinkers thought....
