Litter/Lightermate Addition - July 12

I've been out of town for nearly two weeks and the number of MGB digests to read

is just more than a

little overwhelming - so I am behind in the latest topics!

My surgery date is July 12. I have a friend who lives in a nearby town - who

will be picking me up at

the airport, getting me to clinic and deliverying me to the hospital early on

the morning of the 12th -

but the next day, she is leaving town to visit her parents in Alabama. Now I

have to figure out where

to go from there. Hubby really wants me to stay in Durham until the next

Tuesday for clinic - but

since I'll be alone - I'm kind of dreading that part of the program.

I know some of you Durham people have invited post-ops into your home for this

period - others have

gone to the airport to pick-up and deliver MGBers. I saw a post where some of

the litter/lightermates

for the 12th are moving reservations to be in the same place - but I haven't

been in touch with any of

you personally.

I'm kinda reserved compared to others - like Trish and Genz and Flo. Certainly

not a Life of the Party

type. I don't mind being alone, but I think those days from Thursday to Tuesday

would better be spent

in the company of others. Are any of the other July 12th litter/lightermates

coming alone? Maybe we

can share a room. I'm open to suggestions.
