Dear Jenn,

I hereby pronounce you a " non-lurker " . You gave up that status when (like

many of the rest of us) you responded to the Medicaid ?. This group's motto

should be " In for a penny, In for a pound " (pun intended). LOL

Seriously, as wonderful and knowledgeable group as we are, there are still

areas where we can use some " expert, first-hand " input.

I for one appreciate greatly your explanation of the " domino theory of

hospital funding " . Even though we mean well sometimes we forget that the

people we seem to " ought " to be mad at are in the same positions we're in,

except they're on the other side of the fence.

Speaking for myself, and I believe others I sometimes get " tunnel vision "

because I'm approaching everything from a personal standpoint and lose focus

on the " big picture " .

Having you enumerate how each " domino " affects the next helped me see that

both sides of (peons-the avg.(?) worker levels are basically being

" squeezed " from above by the corporate executives, and from below by the

" proliteriate " with no satisfactory way to answer either group, much less

both.

My heart aches for those who have experienced these setbacks but holds only

honor and glory for those who were willing to breakthrough the glass ceiling

& floor!
