I consumed yogurt *or* took an acidophilus tablet daily, organic milk in my tea only and cheese a couple times a week. Yogurt with live active culture promotes healthy intestinal flora by adding good bacteria, lactic acid kills unfriendly bacteria, lactose provides milk sugars to feed the good bacteria which breakdown and assist in the assimilation of food and keep yeast growth in check.
