Guest guest
Week Two: Agenda for myself a.. Note to self...make list of books to purchase as finances allow b.. Mix and begin using the facial cleanser of four ounces plain organic yogurt, one teaspoon organic lemon juice and one teaspoon organic almond oil (shaving brush to be used to swirl the yogurt mixtrue on face) c.. After face wash apply aloe taken immediately from the plant (no commercial products) and allow to dry. Note to self: do not use aloe long term...just long enough to begin the healing...make notes weekly of progress and keep evaluating when to stop the aloe. d.. Mix three drops each of lavender and tea tree essential oils, glycerin tinctures of gotu kola and grapeseed, three drops organic almond oil(or more if needed) per one ounce of oil free moisturizer of choice(no alpha or beta hydroxy products or salicylic acid products). Apply this moisturizer after aloe and make note of how many applications are needed throughout the day to adjust almond oil content. Make note to increase the lavender and tea tree essential oil to no more than seven drops per *two* ounces and to test organic sesame oil in place of the almond oil. Avoid contact with eyes. e.. Collect at least three 2ounce glass jars for mixing moisturizer. f.. Begin using the eyewash either prior to showering or when removing eye make up. To six ounces of boiled water add seven drops each glycerin tincture of goldenseal and eyebright. Use daily for one week and note progress. Continue use for a month and if beneficial use as needed only (stop daily use) Boil the eye cup in between uses. g.. Get rid of all nutrasweet and/or splenda and products containing these chemicals. Check out Stevia and taste test different honey locally harvested. h.. Note to self: The skin is a reflection of the internal organism (inside, outside, upside down) Don't get caught up in appearance! Get caught up in healing the inside and the outside will follow. i.. Continue with water filters, yogurt, papaya. j.. do price and quality check on ginkgo Day by day and week by week the changes creep in and become habit without causing panic followed by giving up. Taking care of myself is important. Using the shaving brush to swirl the facial cleanser on felt really good. I allowed it to sit while i brushed my teeth then rinsed it off in the shower and followed up with the aloe and moisturizer. It was easy to ignore washing my face before i started this method because it was so painful, hot and edematous and frail. But the negligence brought about build up of dead skin cells and oils leading to increases in bacteria and mites(?). Yogurt has lactic acid which is a gentle exfoliant, lemon juice balances the pH and almond oil was chosen for moisture. Aloe increases blood flow to aid healing, has pain relieving and anti-inflammatory qualities and helps keep infection at bay. Lavender and tea tree were chosen for their antibacterial, antifungal properties and gentleness to the skin. Grapeseed was chosen for the antioxdant properties. Gotu kola strengthens the vascular system and connective tissues by reducing vascular inflammation and stimulating collagen production. Note to self: check out internal use of gotu kola for initial treatment. Investigate using ginkgo for its anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and flavonoids which strengthen capillary walls. I used glycerin tinctures because glycerin is good for the skin and alcohol burns and creates redness for me. I stopped wearing my contact lenses to assist my eyes in staying moist and reduce blepharitis and loss of lashes. Tears help oxygenate the eyes. When there isn't enough oxygen it can cause the eyes to become more " bloodshot " in an attempt to oxygenate the eyes.
