Guest guest Posted March 19, 2006 Report Share Posted March 19, 2006 Hi, everyone, Well, so far I have removed milk and gluten from the kids' diets and there have been some slight improvements. Hard to explain...it's a subtle change, but it's only been a couple of weeks and we're not even completely SCD yet! I'm still expiramenting with SCD bread recipes. I need to find a good bread and a good waffle/pancake recipe before I try going completely SCD. I have collected tons of recipes, it's just a matter of trying them all. I also have a few questions: 1. Coconut - can this kind of flour be used in place of the nut flours in any recipe here? Do I have to adjust the baking soda or anything like that? Also, how does one make coconut flour...should I toast the coconut and then process it? 2. Juices...I have a juice machine...never used it. I was wondering about other flavors of jello. Does anyone have any other suggestions besides Welch's grape juice to flavor the gelatin. Well, that's about it for now.
