Guest guest
Hey Darlene! How is land? Bobsy is doing great and has the diet in the post-op instructions selectively memorized so I can't eat didly. It seems like everyone else but us is trying to eat some good sounding stuff. I could really dig a Texas Nacho. I think it is real funny about Dr. R doing 8 feet on me instead of six. I had no idea until the Tuesday clinic that everyone didn't have the same thing done, although it makes sense because we are all different. When Dr. R said that so many people's last pre-op words were " two more feet " I thought he was just joking. It is funny because I didn't even ask for the two more feet! It may be a sad commentay on me that Dr. R felt I needed it!:-) My last thoughts were to Jesus to grant knowledge and skill to the hands that heal. I'm doing well except for some leg pain and I'm certainly losing plenty of weight. No complaints here. Yours, Bill in AL Re: SPICES > > > > > Hey you guys, I'm feeling a little lonely here!!! Guest guest
Hey Dr. Bill, Do you want me to fed-ex you some Texas nachos????????? They really were good. I'll send them in a plain brown wrapper and mark private and personal on the outside. That way only you can open the box...ha..ha.. Just remember that Bobsy loves you.....she just wants you to follow the book. I'm a little more adventurous and have tried lots of different things. I dropped another two pounds today.....that's 22 pounds in 24 days. So far I haven't had any problems..... I fixed smothered steak the other night and I had the butcher tenderize it twice....it was so tender and it went down really well. Even though I'm venturing out I am being very selective with what I eat....soft is still better. I still can't get over how easy salads are on the tummy. See if Bobsy will make you some homemade potatoe soup. Just peel and dice the potatoes and cover with water. Slow cook until tender....pour off any excess water leaving just enough so the potatoes are visible on top. Add a can of fat free evaporated milk and a little butter. Make a thickening with either corn starch and water or flour and water, then salt and pepper. Grate some cheddar cheese to put on top of your soup and you're good to go. It's easy to make and it will help you feel like you actually ate some food. If you get daring enough you can sprinkle some bacon bits on top too. The cheese and bacon will give you a little bit of protein along with the evaporated milk. Hang in there. Genz :-) " L. Ingram V, DMD " wrote: > Hey Darlene! > > How is land?
