hi richard,

i am not at home so do not have access to my

bookmarks, however i thought i'd mention that i

looked into dermatone thinking it sounded like it

was a possibility. i recall having to go through

quite an effort to get the ingredient list and

actually don't think i ever did. one day i was at

REI and saw a tin of it. turns out it contains

all kinds of potential irritants - and not just

for rosaceans. (things like lanolin, petroleum,

and more - it was a vaseline-like consistency.)I

could not imagine putting it on my face! -

However I'm not out climbing mountains and skiing

in subzero weather either, so maybe such a

product would be just right for you.)I would

seriously check it out though before you apply it

to your face!

(interesting side note: i saw the product in the

sun precautions catalog, called them to get the

ingredients, they did not know but called the

dermatone company for me and then relayed to me

that someone would be getting back to me. a few

minutes later my phone rang and it was the

president of dermatone calling me from his cell

phone in an airport awaiting boarding a plane! I

almost fell off my chair!!! he was extremely nice

but unfortunately didn't have the ingredient list

off the top of his head.)
