Guest guest Posted February 24, 2002 Report Share Posted February 24, 2002 I have been using a topical steroid (Desowen) for about 18 months. My derm prescribed it for my seb/derm. Now I have developed rosacea. Drawing my conclusion from what I have read on this great list I believe I have steroid induced rosacea. My doctor did not tell me of the problems using topical steroid. Now, I am trying to get the rosacea under control using Metrogel. I have stopped using the Desowen. The doc says that it's OK to keep using it. Duh!
