Guest healthgeenie
I realized that if one of your love ones suffers Alzheimer's disease, your help is a great help. I have read in a 'nun study treatment' that a care from someone with compassion and genuine concern can reduce the symptoms of mental deprivation of the sufferer. To guide the patient to remember things can be an effective way to hold back the development of the disease. All you need to do is to continue the routine day by day in your house as much as possible. You can use the idea of showing the names of the members of your family inside a picture frame and then let it hang within the room of the patient.
