Looks like Regina's getting some sleep tonight

This is too much, even for Regina. She had things to do this morning

with a friend of hers but managed to get a doctor appt for 11:15. There

were heading to the doctor around 11 am when they were hit by a drunk

driver!! At 11 iin the morning and this idiot is plastered. Nobody was

badly hurt, but hurt her back and hit her knee, right arm and

shoulder pretty hard. She is still in the hospital and docs want her to

stay overnight, especially since she hasn't been feeling all that great

recently. I'm heading up there now to see if she is coming home tonight

or not. She's not giving them any grief about staying. They're giving

her fluids, pain killers and something to help her sleep.

This really hasn't been her year. I think she's ready to crack. Just

thought I'd let you know what's going on.

Oh Tim!!!!!! How awful! Please tell Regina I am sending good, healing

thoughts in her direction! I can't believe that this could happen. I

sure hope that creep gets slammed into jail for a LONG time. It doesn't

matter that no one was seriously hurt. He has NO right to drive in that

condition. Sorry to rant........I have personal experience with what

happens with drinking and driving and the consequences........lost very

CLOSE friends to a drunk driver! I am so GLAD that Regina is OK even if

she does have to stay the night.
