Guest guest
Shirley, The heart racing (tachycardia) is common in MSA patients when they have an infection. I am not sure, but I feel it is related to the autonomic failure. Talk to your doctor about that aspect. I do know that it happened every time my wife had an infection and then went away when she got over the infection. She did have a high "normal" heartrate of about 80 all the time. Yes the next DC Metro meeting is scheduled for June 23rd and if anyone needs directions contact me directly. Are you coming with Lita? Take care, Bill Werre ----------------------------------------------------- Shirley Snyder wrote: Thanks to everyone who has been giving me information and help. The next support meeting is the 23rd? of this month for Virginia/land? I have another question, with my husband starting out with heart racing, etc in 95 (arterial vib), then Parkinson related symptoms soon after and then urine retention (using straight cathe), Parkinson 98, and finally the diagnoses of Shy Drager 02. How often is the heart related symptoms diagnosed in MSA first or is that rare and is that considered the Onset of Shy Drager or when it is actually diagnosed? Thank you so much for any help!
