Guest guest
I decided to join this list since I'm now almost a year and a half out from surgery and I'm starting to regain just a little and I'm realizing that the honeymoon period is over. Jeesh, I was hoping it never would.... :0) I'm sure I'll recognize some of the people on this list from the OSSG list, already noticed Ray posting... Hi Ray. I'm Vicki, the one on OSSG who always signs off with my byline: 6/28/01 open RNY, down to 134# and loving life. However, I'm back up to 140# still loving life, but I've started eating chocolate again, sweets don't bother me much anymore and I've got a very stressful job now, my hubby just went through some major health problems...not related to his wls though. But scarey nevertheless and I've been eating constantly!!!! I'm alittle scared and I've got to get this turned around! So Hi everyone! Hubby ended up with a pacemaker after getting in a car, blacking out and crashing into a concrete post. This was 2 days after his cardiologist said nothing was wrong and sent him back to work. Luckily he had just started up the car and only had a concussion and seven stitches in his head from the crash, but his heart rate is running in the 30's and 40's and his blood pressure crashed to 83 over 41. So now that he has his pacemaker, hopefully his blackout periods are over, but he can't drive for at least 3 months so we're sure. Never had a problem with his heart rate being slow before wls, but I can't imagine how it would be related. Also his blood pressure was high before wls. Oh well, just glad we found some answers. His heart is still fine, but the problem is the communication systen between his brain and his heart. Ok, now I'm rambling. So again, hello and my best to all of you! Vicki open RNY 6/28/01 down to 134 and back up to 140# and loving life!
