What a keener! You're bright eyed and bushy tailed this morning. :)

Is the weather nice in Lexington this weekend? Rainy here in Nova Scotia.

I just saw the cutest thing though... I left up a feeder at my window with

sunflower seeds this year... usually I only leave them up from October to

April... I just saw a mother junco feeding her baby seeds at my window sill!

Hugs,

Pam

Pam,

The weather here is rainy too. And COLD! It's been in the 50's for a

couple of days now -- the heat's been on and everything. Hard to believe in

mid-June.

We don't have a bird feeder because we have cats and I'm afraid of making

the birds into a tasty snack. We do have a little pond though, which has

the cutest frog in it. I took a picture of him yesterday sitting on a rock

right next to a statue of Buddha -- looks like they're both meditating. I

hope is comes out well -- I'll send it along if it does.

Hugs,

Pam-

Glad someone got the definition quickly, Yeah Carol. Now what's a

Junco? And by the way, Jerry has Diplopia, which in him causes

double vision horizontally at a distance and vertical double vision

when reading. (or is it the opposite?) It is quite frustrating and

the use of prisms in the glasses has not really worked for him. He

can no longer use the computer because he can not see the screen well

enough and lack of coordination makes using the keyboard near

impossible. But he does say there are several caregivers here and

they all look like me. He sometimes sees up to three images at a

time.

Jan (from Arizona, where even the birds think it is too hot!)

I guess we are getting the same weather system this weekend... brrrrrr.

My bird feeder is the kind that you stick onto your window with suction

cups... no way the cats can get at them... in fact when the cats are inside

they really enjoy watching the birds come and go. You'd swear they were

trying to talk to the birds the strange sounds they make whenever a bird

comes by.

Hugs,

Pam

Pam,

So that is where my Junco's go in the summer :o) Say Hi to them for me, I will

not see them until November. They are sparrow sized gray birds (also sometimes

called snowbirds). My dog used to keep away the cats from my feeders, have to

watch this winter.

Take care, Bill

Oh Pam! That is absolutely marvelous! I love seeing scenes like that.

They are so rare and wonderful when they can be enjoyed. It is times

like that you wish you carried a camera on your hip at all times!

God bless,

Belinda
