Pam:

Diplopia = double vision. On occasion, I have it in the horizontal plane

for distance vision. If it is always present, it can be corrected with

prisms in the glasses. I understand it is not unusual for older folks to

have a problem with the two eyes no converging to provide a single

image. I also understand it is not uncommon in youngsters. since mine

seems to vary with time, it is so far not correctable.

Does anyone else have any experience in this area?

This occurs in occasional patients with multiple system atrophy

Can anyone tell us what diplopia means?
