Guest guest
Hi Belinda- You are right, it would be nice if the other two images that Jerry sees because of diplopia could do something else. Like maybe I could find a quiet place to sleep while still doing other jobs. Oh well, I'll settle for being one while he sees three. 107 degrees is quite pleasant if you aren't in the sun (believe that and I'll tell you another one). The only saving part is that the humidity is often zero percent right now. It's like putting your head in an oven when you walk outside. I worry about Jerry because he does not sweat and so the bodies cooling system is not working. We keep pushing the water. I must tell you though that 90 degrees and humid is a real problem for me. Since I've lived in Arizona I find humidity a bigger problem than the high dry heat. I'll probably be a real mess by the time I see you in NC. Did you know that 90 degrees in quite pleasant in Arizona? Hard for some to believe but it is. In fact, when the temp is between 80 - 90 it is my favorite time of the year, it's spring time. The flowers are all blooming, evening temp is around 60, people are out and about and the birds (even if I don't know their names) are everywhere. Jan from Arizona, where air conditioning is a must! Guest guest
Jan, My husband's grandparents lived in Arizona for a few years before moving back to Georgia. They didn't live long after that. Not because they moved back to Georgia but because they were ill and needed someone to take care of them. Wanted to make myself clear about that. I didn't want anyone think we killed them off after coming back to live in Georgia. Good Grief! How do I get myself in these long explanations. Anyway they said the heat was more bearable there at 90 because it was a dry heat. 90 degrees here you just have sweat pouring off of you because of the humidity. I have been in Georgia for 19 years and I still can't get use to it. I have been told though by people here that have lived here all their life they can't stand it either. They said they think it is hotter here than it use to be. They think it is because of the ozone layer. I don't know. I just know come August you do not see me outside unless it is going from an air conditioned house to an air conditioned car. I know you do worry about Jerry not being able to sweat. I know you will also keep the air condition on him at all times. I know that diplopia is a serious thing. I hope you don't mind my kidding about it. Ya know I love ya.
