Just want to thank all of you from the bottom of my heart for the wonderful notes of support. I'm just so thankful that it wasn't worse than it was. My friend's terminally ill baby would have been in the car had this happened just 45 minutes later. At least he was spared from this. They re-arrested the guy that hit us and looks like he won't be able to get behind the wheel of a car or have a cocktail for a very, very long time. Trying very hard not to be angry, but it's too soon for that. Going back to bed. Just wanted to say thanks to all of you. You are all amazing and I am so lucky to have you in my life. You rest, take care of yourself and KNOW that there are an awful lot of good healing thoughts winging their way to you and your family. I am very glad to hear that the idiot was finally arrested. You have every right to be angry. I do hope for his sake and the sake of others he might potentially injure, that he spends a whole lot of time incarcerated where he can not longer do harm.
