Guest guest
hi Trudi, Is your DAd's skin changing color or are there any sores or blisters. My feet turn fuscia then I get blisters on the whole of my feet (and you know it is not from lots of walking.) It could be from a medicine. My legs and feetare always sore, as well, perhaps from the pooling. They ache like cramps. I make sure it is not my potassium and drink up on V-8 juice and OJ. Then I tend to my feet very well - washing, using sesame oil to moisturize, then I keep them dry with baby powder and let them air when I am off them. I go for massage 3 times a week and believe this is the best of my therapies. luckily my therapist gives me a discount because I go to her house across from mine and since I go so often. She does accupressure and deep tissue and the technique they use for lymphedema. Hope this is helpful. DEfinitely, bring this up to your neurologist and if not, then a cardiologist or anyone who will investigate it. Cheers! Waverley
