Guest guest
I said - SURGERY PLANNED BEFORE the the individual plan is in effect. Because it is almost always a growth defect, you will have to disclose it when you apply for the insurance (health tests, etc.). Then it gets excluded. Hey, it would be too easy - pay several hundred right before the surgery and set up insurances for thousands. You wish! If you do not disclose, you are taking chances on lying to the insurance (although, it may sometimes work and actually may be the only way!). Group plans are not allowed any health questions before enrolling. Val > This is the first that I hae heard about only group insurance > covering surgerey. I am really discouraged now. I was planning on > starting Blue cross on April first. Has anyone else had there surgery > covered on individual insurance? Thanks, Patti
