Guest guest
I'm gonna post this here in the group since I've had so many questions to my mail box about it... I hope it's not considered me tryin' to push a product.... This is just my opinion, and I'm sure many, many companies sell calcium citrate powder.... This is just the one I've found, and the one I like and the one I use..... Do not run out and buy this, and stop buyin' somethin' else just because I use it....LOL..... The one I use is by a company called NOW Foods. I think they have a website, however I don't know the URL... I buy it from a nutrition store close to my house. Calcium Citrate Powder Hi Randy, I hope I have the right person. Did you post that you take calcium citrate powder? If so, where do you get it? I would appreciate you letting me know, as this is a big concern of mine and I didn't know you could get calcium citrate in the powder form. Thank you. Guest guest
G.N.C also carries the " NOW " brand. That is where I get my Stevia powder. The can also order for you if it is not a stock item. I get my calcium citrate in a liquid form from the G.N.C. It is a brand called " Life. Guest guest
Sorry Cathy and Randy but I haven't been able to figure out how to post a letter to the group without it also going to an individual so I am " using " this one seeing it is about the same subject I have read in several places that caffeine inhibits the absorption of calcium. Does anyone have any ideas, or suggestions as to how long apart I should take them? Thanks, P. Calcium Citrate Powder > > > Hi Randy, > > I hope I have the right person. Guest guest
I do not think that caffeine prevents the absorption of calcium. Rather, I think caffeine leaches calcium from a woman's bones. Either way, there is some evidence that drinking caffeine can lower calcium in a woman. It does not seem to have this effect on men though. Guest guest
Ok....well that sounds a little better to me. I always forget to take my calcium because I take all my " stuff " in the morning, same time I drink the java. I thought that if there was caffeine in the blood stream the calcium wouldn't be absorbed. I'm not a big coffee drinker but it helps to know I can take them in close proximaty!!!!! Thanks Ray, Calcium Citrate Powder > > > > > > > > > Hi Randy, > > > > > > I hope I have the right person. Did you post that you take > > calcium citrate powder? If so, where do you get it?
