Guest guest
you know, that raises an interesting question: i wonder why some people need up to six weeks (or even more) and others need only a week? my OS, from the very beginning, told me i would only need a week off from work. having read posts on this site, i was worried that i would need longer, but when the time came, i saw that he was right. i took a week and a day. does it have something to do with the extent of surgery? i'm curious. thoughts, anyone??? heather > > > Hi everyone, > > > > > > My name is Lydia and I am 34 years old. Guest guest
I have heard a wide variety of healing times--I was surprised, too. I think it depends on a lot of factors: age, the procedure(s) you're having done, overall health, how well you eat and sleep, etc. I could NOT have gone back to work after a week--no way. At two weeks, maybe, but I had a couple of days in week 2 where I just wanted to sleep all day. At 4 weeks, I feel good, and I could be back to work (I am--as a stay-at-home-mom), but I think it varies for each person.
