Hope your body adjusts soon. Know that I'm thinking of you and pray that you get to feeling better real soon.,,,Funny how some of us can take metho without any problems and for some like us the cure is worse than the disease. Guest guest
Dear Judy, I laid in a lump for the last five months. I don't think I was that overly sick but the fatigue was horriable. I slept one whole weekend away and didn't even know it. I think the body knows what to do to heal itself. Granted the meds contribute to it but please try and be patient. If you can start slow, like a shower, clean sheets, eat well if possible and try and make your bedroom a nice place. I read uplifting stuff, watched only happy TV. I think attitude helps. My thoughts are with you....Love Sue

Guest guest
Hi , the body usually knows what to do. Granted we are screwed up with this disease but just go with the flow. You do need to try and keep your strength up but if you take a walk around the house and it exhausts you...go to bed. I am finally starting to feel human again after 5 months...so it doesn't happen overnight. Just relax and go with it....Sue

LO >> , I've adjusted each time my Rheumy increased the dosage, so I'm praying that I will this time. It's odd, now I can breeze thru chemo day on Tuesday (split the dose - 4 AM, 4 PM), it's the day(s) after that are killing me! I just pray I adjust and SOON!!! Thanks for caring, especially when you have more than enough problems of your own. How is , any better? And what anti-depressants is Rich on? I have Zoloft (200 mg) and Welburtrin SR (75mg - I think), seems to be the right balance since I'm getting thru the bad days without jumping off the curb! Hopefully, we will all adjust soon. Guest guest
Dear Judy, Ok so the sheet thing didn't work. How about candles and peace. I went on Friday and got most of my hair cut off. Looks pretty good actually. Low maintenance. I told them to pretend I was 15 years old. Punky, spikey and I happen to look GREAT...well okay not that great but it makes me feel better. Now if I could lose the 30 pounds from the Pred I'd feel much better....Sue

Guest guest
Hi Liz, yea I look much better with short hair, kept it long to hide the ears. Plus you know men like longer hair, tough shit....I'm not crazy about weight gain because I lost 30+ pounds back in 98 and now its back with more. So I'll deal with it. Take Care...Sue

Getting a haircut can make such a difference! I was growing my hair out (for the umteeenth time) and went in and said " cut it off! " Now it's short again, and I can manage it and actually style it myself (what a concept!) And it feel so much better. I have no idea why I am always trying to grow it out, when it was such a pain in the butt long. Glad you look so hip! Makes you feel good!
