Hi there,

I'm just over two weeks post op from upper jaw surgery. Does anyone

know how long it takes to get lip movement back? I'm trying to move

my upper lip a little bit to get it going because I almost have no

control over it right now. That's where all the stitching is so I

guess that's why. Another thing is..... I feel cold all the time.

I have the heat on here and everything. Does anyone know what this

might be from??? I can't figure it out because I'm eating almost

normally now and I am taking some vitamins as well.

Thanks,

Hi, . I'm 4 weeks post-op from upper/lower/genio. I also have

been very slowly getting crontrol of my upper lip. I guess it just

takes a while. I think you're right about the stitches, too. For a

long time, when I smiled,my upper lip stayed down and the edges of my

mouth curled up--I looked totally goofy. Now I can move it more. I

still have a slightly goofy smile, but I can move it more. I hope time

will take care of it!
