Guest guest
Dear Dr. R: I have been working diligently to get everything together so that I can have the MGB scheduled. I have talked to a lot of patients that have had this done, talked with my doctor and my family. I know that there are people ahead of me, but to have to pay in advance decreases my chance of having the MGB. That is why I pay high premiums for my insurance to cover things. I understand your situation also, considering I have worked in the healthcare field and field tons of insurance. Hopefully, there will be another way that this can be done so that it want have to be on a pre pay basis. Please look for other alternatives so that I can have a chance at something that has given me hope for the first time in my life. Thanks, Donna in NC
Guest guest
Dr. R, please please please dont stop taking insurance for payment, I could never never never afford to have this surgery with out my insurance... I suddenly feel very disappointed, I hope you will be able to grandfather in those of us who have already started on our packets and insurance approvals, I would have been more than happy to get my own insurance approvals, and I still will if I need to. Im so scared that Im going to develop major health problems, i would be willing to wait longer out on a surgery date, maybe you could stop accepting new applications and schedule further out on dates. just an ideal.. we are all just hoping for a solution, but i dont feel that a cash only option is a fair one... tina ellis 5 " 7 320 32 year old mother of 2. Guest guest
Dear Allan, Pintos and cheese are beans with cheddar cheese. They come in a cup and the cheese is melted. You can also order the bean burrito, though still, for me, the most I can eat of one is a third. The burrito comes in a tortilla shell. 's chili has beans and meat and cheese, very high in protein. Frozen fish, I either put in the broiler with some butter or I do it in a pan with some butter. No, I'm not a renegade in the fats department, but I know that being distal I don't absorb fats anymore, so I'm not going to get crazy with low-fat, or with cooking sprays and avoid butter. I don't (won't) eat margarine ever, so I just go for the real stuff. I don't overdo it, but I have to enjoy what I eat because I eat so little of it. live each day like it's your last... love like you've never been hurt...
