i swallowed a bracket,,help!!!

it's 2am and all i'm getting is my orthodontist's machine,,,i just

realized my back molar metal bracket is gone!! i had it on this

morning,,,is this bad?? i'm looking online and some pages say go to

the emergency room and some say don't go unless you inhaled your

bracket, (who does that??) somebody help!!!

wow that was quick response. i called and they said if the bracket

reached my lungs, i would've been on the floor choking right now so

since i'm not turning blue and an hour past, they said it was safe to

say it went to my stomach. thanks again !!

Hi Lia,

Don't worry about the swallowed bracket. I swallowed a metal

bracket/hook thing that was on my lower right last molar. It will

leave your body the natural way.
