Guest guest
Hi y'all! I'm finally getting my " jewelry " out. The distractors will be removed on Saturday, April 3. My surgeon will also be " molding " the new bone into position, applying bone plates and flushing out the joints and soft tissues. This should be a much easier surgery than my previous ones and hopefully the last. Even though it's my fifth surgery and the least complicated one, I'm still getting really nervous. For any of you who might be feeling silly for being scared about surgery, don't worry. It's a perfectly normal feeling. I know I have nothing to be afraid of yet I'm still anxious. It's 4 a.m. and I still can't get to sleep. I just wish the next 2 weeks would be over with.
