Guest guest
Hell, I can't even get the VA to give me my records of the man that helped create me. I will not call him my father, because I don't even remember him and he was never around and didn't care one bit for me. My dad, that died last Feb. was my father. But I do need those records to see what he was in the VA hospital for on numerous occasions and they say they have already destroyed the records. My brother also has an autoimune disease, MS, so I'd really like to know the answers. It's so frustrating!!! W >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Hi, Genealogy is a great hobby, and finding medical information about our ancestors could be important for anyone who has a rare and unusual disease. In many cases you can't always find out what our ancestors died of unless it is late enough for there to be death certificates. So far, I haven't found anyone in my lines who had RP. It was probably around back then, but no one had a name for it. Marilyn

Guest guest
Dear Moe, I can't hardly believe his records were destroyed. Hell, the govt doesn't destroy anything. Would you happen to have his SS# if so there is a great possiblity you can find what you need. Knowing that you and your brother have autoimmune that would mean he definitely had something. I wouldn't believe the govt would have destroyed them......Curley
