Guest guest Posted June 19, 2002 Report Share Posted June 19, 2002 Fred is also on Pro Amatine( Midodrine) for orthostatic hypotension. His doctor started him off with 2.5 mg and then went up to 5mg 3x a day. I was giving Fred the third one at 3pm each day,but the b/p was going up at night so the doctor just took him off the third one to see if this will help. The doctor first tried Fred on Florinef, but that caused Fred to get edema , so he changed it to pro amatine. Fred doesn't seem to have any of the side effects that he had with the florinef.
