Guest guest
thanks to everyone who responded to this! it sounds like i need more fruits and veggies and i've gotten some good ideas on how to blend those. i've been craving peanut butter, but the cottage cheese suggestion also sounded really yummy! i'll have to run out and go shopping again - i THOUGHT i was prepared pre-op, but i guess not. anyway, thanks again! > hi, all... i need help. i feel like i'm not getting enough nutrition > on my liquid diet. i've been drinking slim fast, soup at hand, baby > cereal and milkshakes. i think i need more protein and less carbs. > i haven't lost any weight, which is astonishing to me... so i think > i'm getting plenty of calories. yet the past few days, i've felt > rundown. my OS wanted me to have at least one fresh fruit and one > fresh veggie per day. i haven't been able to find any sites with > recipes or anything like that. > > any ideas on how to get better nutrition??? > > heather
Guest guest
One other thought I had on getting addtional protein would be to soft boil, poach, or fry and egg (sunny side up please)... That could be blended pretty well and pushed through a syringe or zippy. Guest guest
You do know you can blend peanut butter into a smoothie, don't you? The standard recommendation is to do it into a chocolate shake...
