here's a funny story... i was running an errand for my boss in

greater nashville yesterday and i got totally lost. so i pulled into

this random building to call my boss and get directions (she had

given me the wrong address). anyway, when i looked up, the building

i had stopped at was a wellness center for people with diabetes. i

don't have diabetes, of course, but there was this HUGE sign in the

front window that said " Protein shakes and smoothies!!! " . talk about

a happy accident! so i went in and the shop was run by this really

sweet australian lady who fixed me a banana/peanut butter/honey

smoothie with vanilla protein powder. i explained my situation to

her and she suggested that i get some protein powder (preferably

vanilla b/c you can blend it with more stuff). so i bought some from

her... i have yet to try it, but i will today. the smoothie she made

for me, by the way, was DELICIOUS!!!

anyway, just thought i'd share that. thanks again for all the

replies! i'm still struggling with low blood sugar, but i'm going to

try all of the suggestions i've read about. my sister says that by

the time i get this diet figured out i will no longer be wired shut!

i think she might be right!!! lol!!!
